Bad News/Good News

Why do so many believers hesitate to share the gospel with non-Christians? One of the most common reasons is that they don’t know how.

The Bad News/Good News approach to evangelism is an easy way to present the gospel. There are four points to remember and four Scripture verses to support them:

1) Bad News #1 – We are all sinners. (Romans 3:23)
2) Bad News #2 – The penalty for sin is death. (Romans 6:23)
3) Good News #1 – Christ died for you. (Romans 5:8)
4) Good News #2 – You can be saved through faith in Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

This simple approach to evangelism has freed up thousands to share the Good News of Christ clearly and confidently.

Do not become content in your sins thinking that you will be saved in the end from the wrath to come. But expect the opposite. For the bible has stated that the wrath of God is being laid up against the children of disobedience. Instead with fear and trembling work out your salvation. Fearing God and his righteous judgement, all the while praying with all hope and urance that you will one day according to the riches of His glory be made free from sin and obtain that form of righteousness that is by faith.

Religion vs Relationship [BSS5]

Does God really exist?
Why is the Bible the truth?
Who is this Jesus Christ character?

To some people they feel that Christians are just a bunch of nonsense and crazy. People say that religion is wrong and its just a stupid thing to comfort people that there someone who made us all.

Religion has its positives, but it also has a few negatives to it.
Positive:
Community and Fellowship- You can be in an environment of others that also believe in JC and God and want to learn more about.
Preached the Gospel- You are being taught about the Gospel.
Prayer- You can always ask for prayer, and you can also pray with others.

Negatives:
False Salvation- Some churches say that if you belong in our church you will be saved, and their religion is the only way to get to heaven, but that is WRONG.
Separation- You will be separated from God, you won’t TRULY know who He is.

How does a Relationship with Jesus Christ differ? This is how.
Positive:
Trust- Once you have that relationship with Christ, you can just go to Him and talk about problems you have and He will always listen.
Peace- When you have that relationship you won’t be confused or doubt your faith, you know who God is and you are prepared to live your life for Him.
Eternal Life- The life that we as Christians are waiting for, you have a spot to live an eternal life with Christ if you truly believe that He has died for your sins and have a true relationship with Him.

Negatives:
None- With Jesus there are no negatives, but life might not be easier, it might be harder but knowing that you have Jesus Christ in your heart and have that special relationship you can overcome anything.

So just remember that its not the Religion that matters, its the Relationship you have with Jesus Christ that will matter in the end.
