When the World Trade Center was attacked. You could see people lierally crying out for God (Oh my God!) I’ve had some people tell me to stop shoving God down there throat. You stop frist.I don’t call on God just when something is going bad I call on him every day . that is why I,m blessed with wealth (which I share) and peace of mind ,because I work evey day to do the will of God.
I personally believe that one of the most convincing proofs of Gods existence, of His constant presence and undeniable influence, is the "fox hole" prayer. It’s an appeal to God that bubbles up from the soul of even non believers when crisis threatens and there is no other avenue of escape. If you have a working relationship with God and know his blessings, be encouraged that He is working also in the lives of those who doubt.
Why is it when we go through a tradgedy or a delimma that people call on a higher power(God) for help?

this is maybe because that people are hard headed in nature, we think that we can do all things in our own only to find out later that we need God’s help in everything and in every circumstances.

I agree with you. most people pray to the Lord to sent them a man,woman or that new job or car but when God do provide they forget who supplied. I think us humans are the most selfish spices on earth. I think it’s just in are nature to take rather then give.
