The Christian God did not create evolution. He made animals separate from humans and never connected them. Evolution is true; otherwise we would not have bones of dinosaurs.
The way the world is and how perfect it works must mean that we have a higher power that helps us work it, right?
Than where is the proof that this ‘higher power’ must be a ‘god?’

That’s where Religion comes into play. I like to believe that there is a God. Personally, the world just makes sense to me that way.

No. Not necessarily. 4 billion years of evolution and such brought us to that. The laws of physics let it work quite nicely too. The world is far from perfect, anyhow.
