1 Cor 10:13 “No tempation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the tempation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it”.
Whenever I am really challenged with a temptation, the minute I cry out to God to help me not do anything stupid or to please help me not do what is right in front of me, He provides a distraction or just simply as scripture says, “a way out” for me. But it is my responsiblity to cry out out to Him. Clearly, if I am depending on my own strength to have self control, that explains all my failures. He says trust Him, I need to trust Him. He will provide a way out for me and for you. Hold on, cry out to Him, He is right there waiting for you to need Him.
