When was the last time you witnessed a miracle?

I have to admit that I am witnessing a miracle in progress, and that is my son Jayden. He is only six years old, but he is so far advanced than children his own age. Sometimes it can be a little scary or even a bit creepy to be around him at times. It is almost like he has this sixth sense, which is why I intend to keep him as far away from satan’s path as possible.

If you don’t mind, could you share your story?

Thank you and God Bless.

Yesterday. I belong to a church that annoints with oil for the sick. I was annointed with oil in anticipation of an MRI I had to have about a week ago.

We drove about 25 miles from home to Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital Radiology Dept. While sitting in the waiting room, I saw a small business card on the window ledge.

My thought was "these contractors never give up, do they? Here in the Cancer Hospital they still have to leave a card".

I picked up the card and it was from the Church I belong to, that annointed me with oil. Who put it there and why, I do not know. Perhaps they listened to what God wanted them to do. I certainly was encouraged.

That person, having been in the Radiation Department of the Cancer Hospital for some health reason also, now has someone else praying for them – me.

Oh, so your son is incredibly advanced is he? Somehow, with you as his mother, I doubt it!

p.s. You are the one who is scary and creepy and I think the devil speaks through you.

I experience a miracle, when the doctor told me that I didn’t have breast cancer, when my test came back two weeks before stating that my test was negative. Thank You Jesus.

Isn’t a "sixth sense" something of the devil himself? I thought being psychic was unBiblical.

The last time I witnessed a miracle? Perhaps it was when one of my closest friends was dying due to heart-brain failure, and I prayed for weeks asking for her to get better. In the end, I found out she’d already been dead for a week, and I pretty much realized my prayer was a waste of time and effort. What could’ve been the miracle? She was released from her pain. That’s more, I believe, than God could have ever given her.

EDIT: I’ll add that I hope God has mercy on poor Jayden. Christianity brings about societal corruption, even though his "spiritual" energy becomes greater. I pray he doesn’t grow up to become bigoted, as some of your previous questions suggested you want him to become. Please know that he’ll be in my wishes.

I have the same sense of wonder that everyone has. For example I was there at the birth of my son.

But just because something is wonderful to us doesn’t make it a miracle. It’s natural, we just happen to be very fortunate, in the same way that we can be unfortunate if we’re told we have a chronic disease.

I’m very pleased about your gifted child. Please don’t restrict him by forcing mythical beliefs on him.
