To some people they feel that Christians are just a bunch of nonsense and crazy. People say that religion is wrong and its just a stupid thing to comfort people that there someone who made us all.
Religion has its positives, but it also has a few negatives to it.
Positive:
Community and Fellowship- You can be in an environment of others that also believe in JC and God and want to learn more about.
Preached the Gospel- You are being taught about the Gospel.
Prayer- You can always ask for prayer, and you can also pray with others.
Negatives:
False Salvation- Some churches say that if you belong in our church you will be saved, and their religion is the only way to get to heaven, but that is WRONG.
Separation- You will be separated from God, you won’t TRULY know who He is.
How does a Relationship with Jesus Christ differ? This is how.
Positive:
Trust- Once you have that relationship with Christ, you can just go to Him and talk about problems you have and He will always listen.
Peace- When you have that relationship you won’t be confused or doubt your faith, you know who God is and you are prepared to live your life for Him.
Eternal Life- The life that we as Christians are waiting for, you have a spot to live an eternal life with Christ if you truly believe that He has died for your sins and have a true relationship with Him.
Negatives:
None- With Jesus there are no negatives, but life might not be easier, it might be harder but knowing that you have Jesus Christ in your heart and have that special relationship you can overcome anything.
So just remember that its not the Religion that matters, its the Relationship you have with Jesus Christ that will matter in the end.

I myself don’t believe in any religion, I believe in God, but religion has just a bunch of stories to help you become a good person. If God wanted religion, he would only send one, he would obviously predict that people would fight over which one is correct.

YAY! I totally agree with you on the whole religion thing though. no one denomination of Christianity is the only way to get to heaven. religion definitely isnt as important as your relationship with jesus. i would know with my personal experience.

Well I was raised as a Catholic, but obviously it didn’t turn out well for me.
So then I discovered other religions, really nothing worked.
I call myself Christian because in a broader sense people that have a relationship with JC are known as Christians.
