I’ve never met a Christian who would say that! While we Catholics don’t put such a stress on it as other Christians, it’s a given. Pope B16 said last year to be a Christian is to have an encounter with Christ.

That wouldn’t surprise me based on other things I’ve heard from him, but don’t get distracted by things like this. He needs our prayers and if Christians pray fervently for God to touch his heart, he will be a different man than he is today.

When it comes to these matters everyone simply presumes. No one has proof of anything. There is just no way of authenticating what ‘preacher’ said or what is written in a book. To be honest, there is no certainty in hallelujah in ignorance. All we can do is accept that each of us has an opinion. Then we aught to coexist and not try to judge.

I also heard that Obama says that Jesus is not the only way to heaven, then that would make him not a Christian, because the Bible that he claims to believe says "Jesus is THE way, THE truth, and THE life. Not a way, a truth and a life.

god put us on earth because he was lonely he wanted a friend therefore i think there should be a relationship. when obama said that, it made me think he was a total hypocrite he’s one of those people that you know something is not right with them.
when he talks he sounds convincing but when it comes to talking about god he acts like it hurts him just to say god and jesus he really likes to change the subject.
