To Whom it may concern, 12/16/2009

This letter may seem strange to begin with, but please rest assured when I explain why I am writing, you will understand. The main reason I am writing is because I am steadfast in saving my marriage. In this day and time, people are divorcing at alarming rates. I don’t wont to be another statistic. I am willing to do everything I can to save this marriage to my husband. We have only been married a little over two years. God, my kids and my husband are the up most important things to me. My life is incomplete without my family.
I am asking, begging, pleading, whatever the case may be, to please help myself, my husband and our families to save this marriage. At least allow us a chance. I have sent out, mailed, posted online over 8000 prayer request. I pray daily, I seek Gods word, I stand in faith, I fast. This is the time of year that families need to be together, to rise up and fight the devil who is trying to destroy everything and everyone in his path. I made a vow that I was NOT going to let the devil win.
Again, I am asking for help. I WANT to save our marriage and with prayer and people such as yourselves, this can be achieved. It took a lot of courage to write and ask for help, but I am turning to you in my time of need.
You may contact me at: My husband:

I am asking for a prayer request for reconciliation and restoration in my marriage to Todd Moore. I also would like for God to touch Todd’s heart and soften it and show him the love I his wife has for him. And also that God help Todd fight the devil. Todd cant do this alone, he needs help. I love my husband and I have been forgiven of past sins. I want to save our marriage and make a Godly difference in Todd’s life. And for God to remove the scales from Todd’s eyes, lift him up, show him the love his family has for him

Sincerely and God Bless,
Tammy Wright Moore

This is a trial left by God. The Israelites were commanded to possess the land before them, and remove all peoples living there id they would not submit to God. They moved in all right, but they left some peoples. God wanted all gone because the remaining would tempt and degrade the holiness of Israel.

In other words, God wanted them to remove all sin from the promised land. And He wants you to as well. All Christians that accept the Lord's salvation are given much in the way of freedom from sin. In fact, they are given the power (God's) to overcome sin...so it is expected in their walk with God for the Christian to "remove all other peoples or submit them to God". He needs you to learn all about sin, temptation, your unwillingness, the power of drawing close to Him, the bondage that you are freed from but persist in through your own desires.

All of what you will learn in this battle will be real, as the guilt and anguish you feel every time you must turn from God to sin...is real. But His promise is that He has overcome and will bring to completion that which He has begun. He also needs you to learn one very important and powerful thing. It may take you many years to learn it, but when you do...the sin will slowly fade.

That important thing is that He will never leave you or turn from you. He sees in you (your spirit that is alive to Him) a perfect creation. That is the work of the cross. He also sees the sinful nature and has indeed left it there for you to learn many things. But He will NEVER turn from you. You will turn from Him, but like the prodigal son's father...He will always be overjoyed that you turn back to Him. And He will be there every single time.

You haven't learned this yet because you probably feel He turns away from you. Trust me friend, I have know the Lord for 25 years and know of which you speak. And I have learned this one most important thing about God. He doesn't make mistakes and He is the very definition of Faithful. He knows you through and through. Inside and out. he knows you must walk away when you follow temptation. He knows you know this. He knows you must willfully put Him aside to sin, knowing that you will turn back to Him later. At this time you know you can feel bad enough to humble yourself again. And you know that before you walk away, and you know when you come back...you will walk away again.

Sound familiar? If it does, then trust me. It is normal. It is the thorn (or one of them) that God has left in your side. It (and other things) will end up teaching you more than you can even imagine to hope for over the years. God turns us over, or allows our sin to still affect us. But the difference is that He is in the battle with you to get free. And God has promised freedom and victory. He doesn't make mistakes or take stuff back. You will be free someday. That is your Hope. That is God's promise. That is God and your work together. And from the lessons learned, the blessing received and the knowledge gained...your faith will grow.

You need to have patience in this. You need to trust God that He knows all about it. you aren't getting anything past Him. he also knows you are but dust, and will treat you gently. You are forgiven already. Now the task is a long, long road to the realisation of that forgiveness and the power that comes from being free, knowing how you got there and the joy of arriving.

Be still. Know He is God. And trust me, He will never, never, never turn even slightly away from you in this or any other thing in your life. he is the Faithful one. And, over time, you will be His friend, companion and Faithful creation too.

You needn't take my word for it. It will happen anyway. You will be free. In the meantime consider why and how it is that He is always there when you turn to Him. It's your lack of trust in that faithfulness that you are interpreting as Him turning away from you. Have faith in His total, pure and freely given faith in you. Even in the deepest sin, NEVER stay away for even a second longer than you can help.

Godspeed friend
References :
The being that inside you, that will never leave or turn away is God.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
~Isa 9:6 KJV

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Christ says:

"If your right hand is making you stumble, cut it off and throw it away from you.
For it is more beneficial to you for one of your members to be lost
than for your whole body to land in Ge·hen′na." --Matthew 5:30

"If ever your hand makes you stumble, cut it off; it is finer for you to enter into life maimed
than with two hands to go off into Ge·hen′na, into the fire that cannot be put out." --Mark 9:43

He was using the 'hand' to stand for whatever might get in our way of serving God.
So, to be successful, you must AVOID any of the people, places, entertainments which tempt you to so much as think of it; & destroy any & all of it that you have.

Teach yourself to love what God loves, &, hate what God hates:

"Hate what is bad, and love what is good." --Amos 5:15a

“O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments!
Then your peace would become just like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.” --Isaiah 48:18

". . . All hearts Jehovah is searching, and every inclination of the thoughts he is discerning. If you search for him, he will let himself be found by you; but if you leave him, he will cast you off forever." --1 Chronicles 28:9b

"Do not be misled. Bad associations spoil useful habits. 34 Wake up to soberness in a righteous way and do not practice sin, for some are without knowledge of God. I am speaking to move YOU to shame." --1 Corinthians 15:33,34

So, you may need to terminate association with certain ones . . .

that you may apply your very heart to my knowledge.” --Proverbs 22:17

turn to God when you feel tempted. I used to watch porn too but I owe it all to the grace of God for helping me resist the temptation and I have been free for months now. A good verse to remember is this. Submit yourself therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. I hope you continue to grow in Christ and beat temptation!
References :
Only Jesus can free you. You must ask Him to free you. Ask Him to give you understanding. Sometimes when we can see how our sins effect us, others and God, we have an easier time shedding them. Prayer and fasting is another discipline that free us to grow closer to God and turn our back on sin.
References :
You will have the addiction to porn for as long as God wills it. By yourself, you cannot be strong enough to lick this addiction. All you can do is pray that the grace of conversion and strength will be given to you so that you will be free from the slavery of porn. Persevere in prayer and wait with trust that in His own time, God will remove this weakness from yourself by His gift of grace.
References :
you need to pray. ask God to help you because you obviously can't do it alone. he wants you to have a relationship with him, but he needs you to try. everyone is a sinner, and God knows that but remember when he died on the cross, jesus took all of out sins upon himself so we could become holy and blameless before the Lord. (I'm not saying continue in your sin and you'll be forgiven." But you do need to repent and ask for forgiveness and HELP. I am a strong christian and I am struggling in sin as well constantly, one particular sin. I can't be nice to my little sister. (I know that sounds cheezy, but it's what's keeping me from growing in my relationship with God.) I've been so mean to her all the time, and every little thing she does annoys the crap out of me, but with God's help I will be able to overcome it. I have been praying for my heart to be changed towards her for like a couple years now, because I know i need to love her. She is my sister. Even though it seems like God is not answering my prayers, he WILL. in his time. he will help me. You have to be constantly in prayer. Whenever you feel temptation, just be like "God help me, i know this is not your plan for my life, i want to be pure" And you need to never stop praying about it.

*P.S.- Reading your bible daily will help you immensly.
*P.S.S.- I hope i kinda helped you? and i will pray for you as well. don't give up on him, he won't give up on you. he loves you with his whole heart.
References :
My brain, the bible, my heart.

Fear God. Be scared to death of the sin that you're engaging in. Be very scared. Fear the one that can destroy both body and soul in hell. Fear God!

He wants you free from this. Submit to God "resist" the devil and he will flee from you.

It takes prayer for help and it takes you getting to "work." That's right. Gasp. You mean we have a responsibility? Absolutely.

Do whatever you need to do to get rid of this. If that means throwing out the computer then throw it out now. If that means putting the computer out in an open room where everyone can see what you're doing then do it. If it means telling someone you love to monitor where you go on the internet then subject yourself to it. PROVE TO GOD THAT YOU ARE REPENTANT. ( Acts 26:20 )

You must work and you must endure. Self control is a "fruit of the Spirit."

Don't you know that Jesus had to endure temptation? He was tempted in all things just as us yet He never sinned. Did that come easy? Was it "easy" for Him not to sin?

Was it easy for Him to endure the flesh? Consider this as I'm sure His flesh was tempting Him away from what He came to do:

Luke 22
39 Coming out, He went to the Mount of Olives, as He was accustomed, and His disciples also followed Him. 40 When He came to the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”
41 And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, 42 saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” 43 Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. 44 And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
45 When He rose up from prayer, and had come to His disciples, He found them sleeping from sorrow. 46 Then He said to them, “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation.”

So rise and pray! You absolutely MUST get to work. Again, I say, a fruit of the Spirit is SELF control. You have a responsibility and you have the HOLY SPIRIT in you if you believe and it says the Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak and you must get to work and endure.

Also, you must get someone involved in your life that you can trust. That you can be held accountable by. "Confess your sins one to another that you may be healed," it says in James.

It's a dark secret and you have to expose it to the light and get someone to help you. Here is a website that might be of service: www.settingcaptivesfree.com.

They offer assistance with accountability on many issues such as drug abuse, alcoholism, gluttony, pornography, and many other things. They're serious about getting sin out.

You've been called to walk Holy. BE FINISHED WITH THIS SIN! Walk in Holiness with Him. He will use you mightily when you're walking in self denial and seeking the Spirit.

To walk in the Spirit means to deny flesh and when temptation comes you have to be prepared to endure the battle...it doesn't matter what the temptation is. You have to be prepared to endure the lure of the flesh. You cannot walk in the flesh and the Spirit. You must choose. To walk in the Spirit means you must deny flesh and be prepared to endure. The temptation will go away for a season but you must endure. It will come and it will go. Endure! You will experience more and more victory.

Galatians 5:16
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

So stay encouraged. He forgives us seventy times seven but we don't want to "go on sinning that grace may abound." ( Matthew 18:22, Romans 6:1 )

Blessings to you for victory by the only name under heaven by which men must be saved....the name of Jesus!
References :
Him
