    How would you feel …
How would you feel about a preacher who did not practice what He preached? Would you follow Him? The answer is NO! Get ready to abandon Jesus, then, because He NEVER DID BAPTIZE ANYONE!

  2. usahats01 says:

    Gal 3: 27 For as …
Gal 3: 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

  3. usahats01 says:

    2Kings5:13 And his …
2Kings5:13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him,and said,My father,if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee,Wash, and be clean?14Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
Now was it the water that made him clean or was it his obediance to God that made him clean?

  4. usahats01 says:

    1 Peter 3:20 Which …
1 Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,)by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

Why is that if you …
Why is that if you have a christian movement that you disagree with you call them a cult

  6. wilby1414 says:

    Regeneration is in …
Regeneration is in the Bible so it is okay to use it without apologising.

    Matthew 19:28
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

    Titus 3:5
    Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

  7. wilby1414 says:

    Jesus was baptized …
Jesus was baptized by John and He called it fulfilling righteousness-not works!
Paul met some deciples baptised by John…and rebaptized them into Jesus–WHY? The real salvation came through the cross for Jesus and for us. We MUST follow Him through Death, Burial and Resurrection, which is ONLY accomplished through Baptism into His name. Read Romans 6: 3-5 Paul explains baptism.
After we get baptized we receive a gift.
    No proper baptism–no real salvation.

    Please tell us how …
Please tell us how many times The Baptist Church is mentioned in the Bible?Mat 16:18 And I also say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, not any other. Christ was called by many different names but never Christ the Baptist. christdiedonthecross I am eating an apple can you tell me if it is sweet or sour? You probably cannot tell until you have tasted it yourself!

  9. wislee28 says:

    those are the exact …
those are the exact words but Jesus was giving a command to go and baptize in the name of the father..now father is not a name its a title. in order to baptize in name of the father we must know the fathers name and the sons name..if u read on in Acts..none of the apostles baptized in the name of the father son hholyghost..but did so in the name of Jesus

  10. wislee28 says:

    im really …
im really understanding what your writng me. ive never said the namew of my church, and y did u mention the church of God

  11. christdiedonthecross says:

    greetings this is …
greetings this is not true it is not the name of your church the bible also has the church of GOD 45 times. this is a bunch a baloney the so called restored movement that’s whats its called. Jesus says that he wants his church to be called the House of prayer if anyone’s in the this church you need to leave the devils church! Seriously! they don’t even do everything that’s in the New Testament. There is only one doctrine and thats holiness Church Of Christ members you better live Holy!

dude that is cool I …
dude that is cool I asked because when I go past a catholic church or mormon they are not my brothers but now when I pass by a church with the name on It I will know you are my brothers and wont have to worry about any of my family members every vivsted or becoming members. Because the bacis of salvation unifies us as a whole.

  14. nikeshoxman says:

    Correct. It’s just …
Correct. It’s just safer to go by the norm rather than the exception. In all sincerity, why would one take an obscure or rarely-used meaning and try to apply it to plain usage? My girlfriend is Baptist – I love her, but I despise that she has been deceived – and she is beginning to “wise up” , they vote on whether to use 75- or 100-watt light bulbs. What’s worse is that her mom NEEDED food-bad economy. Baptist church?Get food, but gotta attend 3 devotionals. CoC? $100 check, no strings.

  15. nikeshoxman says:

    You might …
You might re-consider that. There is no specific baptismal formula, and you were baptized using the very words of Jesus: “baptizing them into the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” The exact words. I doubt you’ll go wrong (or did go wrong) in doing so.

  16. wislee28 says:

that is the name of …
that is the name of my church.. we are not denominational nor religion. Christs greatest opposition was the religious leaders. Religion make up there own rules and twist the Bible around and they are not of God. they vote to change rules and laws of god. but gods true church knows that thier is no compromise towards the word of God.

  17. jonyrock777 says:

    Just from studying …
Just from studying the bible I am considering gettng baptized in the name of Jesus. I have been baptized in the Name of the father son and holy spirit twice. I dont care about being prideful, If I need to be rebaptized in Jesus name than I why not. I love God to much to put up walls when his bible is saying something.

  18. jonyrock777 says:

So is that the name …
So is that the name of the church or Denomination? Dude its ok to be in different denominations. I am not going to say your wrong. I asked cuz each one is a litle different but as long as they have the same basic for salvation. So is that the name?

  19. wislee28 says:

in what name were u …
in what name were u baptized?

  20. wislee28 says:

    im not baptist nor …
im not baptist nor church of God..FULL GOSPEL EBLY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN JESUS CHRIST

  21. tainochief says:

    Dr. Morey does have …
Dr. Morey does have an attitude and says things without realizing the grace of God saves all of us, even if we can’t agree with each other or him. Concerning EIS, this preposition does look forward most of the time but sometimes not. As for my view that EIS should be understood to mean, “in reference to or as regards to” this view comes from an understanding that EIS is given 32 different senses in the NT. Mt.3:11 is an example of this meaning; “a baptism EIS repentance” not ‘in order to’.

  22. jonyrock777 says:

    Really good …
Really good agruement. The sad thing is the speaker in the video knows that verse but didnt say it because what you pointed out was true. I gues Denominations dont lack the truth we just dont say the full message so we can over emphasize the scripture to fit our in the box doctrine which undortunatley has the power to decieve. Good agurement. Thanks for loving Gods word.

  23. jonyrock777 says:

    This vid was shoot …
This vid was shoot 20 yrs ago the speaker said something true even though I dont agree with him. He said exclusive denominations will say “since we are the 1 true church ur prior baptism wasnt sufficent, u have to baptized in our church to be saved” I was Baptized but later studied w/ the church of Christ, They said I had to be rebaptzed. That is Ok. THe church and people were cool but since I was not willing to say the gifts and baptism of the holy spirit are not for today I was asked to leave.

  24. bjobe1964 says:

    Most scholars do …
Most scholars do NOT agree that the word phrase refers backwars. Look at the mess they’d be in: “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” Matt 26:28. And the word “for” there is the translation of “eis”. So Christ shed is blood “with reference to” (in a backwards sense) because our sins were already forgiven? Makes no sense. “Eis” is almost ALWAYS a forward-looking preposition. I always get a kick out of Dr. Morey – idiots amuse me.

  25. bjobe1964 says:

    Who kicked you out …
Who kicked you out of of what? We all know there is one baptism – Eph 4:4. So two is one too many. I’m just wondering – the comments are interesting, although the speaker is an idiot.
