Why is the gospel called – the power of God unto salvation?

Romans 1:16 – For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

And why not be ashamed of it, what could happen in the end if one is ashamed of the gospel?

We should never be ashamed about anything regarding the Lord God or His Son, Jesus the Christ.
We "are" because the Lord God above, IS. He shines His Light and Love on all of us.
Praise be to the Lord God!
Jesus taught us the ways in which we should live. He is the "Logos", the Son, the Example, the Christ in all of us.

Only God knows in the end…

Any way to make trees grow faster? Does Miracle Grow work on trees?

I have some Emerald Arborvitae (Thuja Occidentalis) trees that I just bought and haven’t yet planted. I want them to grow as quickly as possible.

Does anyone know if Miracle Grow works for trees, especially this type of tree, or if not, is there anything to do/use that would make this type of tree grow faster?

A word of caution. The first year plants struggle to get established, the second year may see a spurt of growth, and the third year they leap. You can not use a whole lot of fertilizer the first year or the second. You can use some the third. Next make sure that the surrounding area is free of grass for a couple of feet diameter so that the grass will not suck up the nutrients(saw this on a gardening show where the trees did not grow well with grass on their root structure). And last make sure your pH is good for plant growth, plants can not absorb nutrients if the pH is off. Miracle grow makes two kinds of fertilizer; regular and acid loving. Make sure you use the right one.

Do people have power over god if they made him angry in the bible?

If you can make someone mad you have a certain amount of power over them. They have a reaction which you created. Because in the bible God got angry many numbers of time because of people doesn’t that mean we have some kind of power over him in a sense.

God freaked out a lot according to bible. So yeah, the people who believe in it would have to admit somebody was having power over him in that sense.

If you study bible thoroughly you may discover it generally makes God look like an idiot.

How much miracle grow do you feed vegetables with?

I have a garden with tomatoes, squash, peppers, etc. I am going to be using the all pupose Miracle Grow water-soluble mix. I add it to a container which then connects to a hose. I am wondering how long or with what amount I should water each plant.

I use the same setup.
You spray so that you cover everything in 11-15 minutes.
Then it is just about pure water by then.
It says on the directions that is will generally last that long.
BTW I spray once a week and I have TONS of veggies for me and my friends.

is it your testimony that 1 John 3: 9 states you who are born again born of God do not practice sin?

How is it that commentators and many who believe them for the sake of catholic doctrine, say this means practice sin. If a man is born of God and cannot sin, how is it that you say this means PRACTICE, after hearing CANNOT SIN.

It is evident that many are running under their experiences instead of the power of God, yes or no?
Is this your perception or God’s teaching?

The part of me that was born again, born of God, cannot sin. It wasn’t my flesh that was born again and it wasn’t my soul that was born again, it was in the spirit of my heart that was born of God, John 3: 8 Romans 6: 4 and 7: 6 and Colossians 2: 12 and 2: 29

And my spirit doesn’t practice sin neither can I sin because I am born of God.

What else do i need to make miracle grow work for the hydroponic nutrients?

niracle grow is what i plan to use but i heard just dont put miracle grow in it? anything that i might need to put it in and how concentrated it must be? ~thanks

If it’s a plant that doesn’t live very long, you might get away with using miracle grow alone (like lettuce). But miracle grow isn’t formulated with all of the trace nutrients that plants might need for long-term health, but need in extremely small amounts, and things that most soils would normally contain. That’s why, when you supply all of the fertilizer needs yourself, like in hydroponics, you need to supply every little thing it would get from other sources, instead.

Miracle Grow only supplies the stuff the soil uses up fast, and gives a quick chemical burst of energy. It doesn’t pretend to be a complete, hydroponic fertilizer.

OK, what I’ve used, with some success, was miracle grow, mixed to the label directions, with powdered seaweed powder and bat guano (use an old nylon to keep this from plugging your pump) added. It worked pretty good, but not as good as a complete hydroponic fertilizer.

The Christian God did not create evolution. He made animals separate from humans and never connected them. Evolution is true; otherwise we would not have bones of dinosaurs.

The way the world is and how perfect it works must mean that we have a higher power that helps us work it, right?

Than where is the proof that this ‘higher power’ must be a ‘god?’

Zero proof, but just in case, you better worship Zeus.

I just plant my perennials and I bough the miracle grow plant food, should I use the bloom booster?

I want my plants to grow and look beautiful, should I use the miracle grow bloom booster first and then the miracle grow liquafeed after they bloom?
I feed them every week and use the system that you attached to the hose.

don’t overdo it , miracle grow no more than every two weeks.
lets the plants get stronger before you start bloom boosting them

Saw a story on John Paul II and the road to sainthood. What does the miracle mean?

Sainthood, in the catholic church, is granted to those that can be "proven" to reside in Heaven. The church teaches that the best way to determine that is if the person’s spirit intervened on Earth, meaning they must be in heaven and in God’s good graces.

I don’t believe in any of this but I’m just relaying what I was taught when I was a practicing Catholic.
